The loaf comes uncut, to be sliced with a kitchen knife into twelve or thirteen bars of around 100g, thick or thin as you like, at a fraction of the price of boxed soap, which is how small shops, holiday lets and people who give a lot of soap buy it; a slice wrapped in brown paper is a good present on its own. The base is a glycerin soap that lathers well and does not dry the skin. Handmade in the UK, so the colours vary a little from the photograph.
