Zodiac Crystal Candles

If you know someone's star sign, you've already done most of the hard work.

Our zodiac crystal candles cover all twelve signs and make particularly easy birthday gifts. Each one is £18 and comes as a soy wax candle in glass, measuring approximately 8.8 x 5cm, with a gemstone bracelet chosen to suit the sign.

Pisces, for example, comes with moonstone, turquoise and aquamarine, while the other signs have their own gemstone combinations.

The nice thing about these is that you get two things in the box. The candle is there to enjoy, while the bracelet is something they can actually wear afterwards. It makes the gift feel a little more personal than simply picking a candle from a shelf.

They're just as nice as a treat for yourself, of course. Light your own sign on your birthday, or keep the bracelet on hand throughout the year.

If you're buying for a birthday and someone happens to fall close to the edge between two signs, don't overthink it. Ask them which one they consider themselves to be. Most people have an answer ready.

Remember to remove the bracelet before lighting the candle. For the first burn, allow the wax to melt across to the edge of the glass, then keep the wick trimmed to around 5mm for subsequent burns.
