Refund policy

REFUND POLICY

Last updated: 18 September 2026

Buying for a business? See Business orders at the end. The rest of this policy is written for consumers and does not apply to business purchases.

Changing your mind (14 days)

You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it. This is your right under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. Once you have told us, you have a further 14 days to send the item back.

How to return an item

  1. Email hello@harmonyelements.co.uk with your order number and the item(s) you want to return.
  2. We reply with the return address and instructions. Please wait for this before posting anything, so your parcel reaches the right place.
  3. Send the item back unused, in its original condition and packaging. We recommend a tracked service, as the item remains your responsibility until it reaches us.

Who pays for return postage

You pay the cost of returning an item you have changed your mind about. If the item was faulty, damaged or not what you ordered, we cover everything (see below).

Refunds

We refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item, to your original payment method. For change-of-mind returns we refund the price of the item. The original delivery charge is refunded if you return your whole order. Your bank may take a few extra days to show the refund.

There are no restocking fees.

Items we cannot take back unless faulty

For hygiene reasons, the following can only be returned if they are sealed and unopened: incense, smudge sticks, candles, essential and fragrance oils, bath and body products, cosmetics, and pierced-earring jewellery. Gift cards cannot be returned.

Damaged, faulty or incorrect items

Please check your order when it arrives. If anything is damaged, faulty or not what you ordered, email us within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo. We will send a replacement or refund you in full, including delivery, at no cost to you. You do not need to send broken items back.

Exchanges

To swap an item, return the original as described above and place a new order for the item you want.

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

Business orders

If you are buying for business purposes, this section applies instead of everything above. You are a business customer if you are not a consumer under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 — that is, if you are not an individual buying wholly or mainly outside your trade, business or profession.

The 14-day cancellation right above is a consumer right and does not apply to business orders. We do not accept business returns for change of mind or incorrect ordering. If we agree to one as a goodwill gesture, a restocking fee of up to 25% applies, return carriage is at your cost, and goods must be unused and in their original packaging.

Tell us within 3 working days of delivery, with photographs and your order number, if anything arrives damaged, missing or incorrect, and we will replace or refund it. Goods will be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described under the Sale of Goods Act 1979; so far as the law allows, all other terms, warranties and conditions are excluded. Our liability for any order is limited to the price paid for it, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of business or other indirect loss. Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

Goods remain our property until we have been paid in full. Where we have sent you a quotation, pro forma invoice or order confirmation, the terms on that document take priority over this policy.
