Rose absolute, extracted from the petals of Rosa centifolia, the cabbage rose of Morocco's Dades valley. Rose cannot be steam-distilled in any useful quantity, so the absolute is taken by solvent from the petals and then from the resulting concrete, so it is thick, deep orange and intensely, unmistakably rose: honeyed, slightly spicy, with none of the thinness of a rose fragrance oil. It takes thousands of petals to fill this 10ml bottle, and that is the price. Use it a single drop at a time: in a burner or diffuser, blended into a carrier oil for the skin, or added to an unscented cream. Sold undiluted; it is not for use neat on the skin. For a scent people stop and ask about, there is nothing else like it.
