Fell Berry catches the hedgerows of the Lake District fells in late summer: juicy berries leading, balanced by crisp fruit and a faint herbal edge that keeps it bright without being sugary, and it is the fruitiest of Agnes and Cat's Kilner jar candles. It suits a kitchen, a conservatory or a child's room, and it is the one to burn when a house needs cheering up. The jar is a real 400ml Kilner with a clip lid, which keeps the fragrance sealed between burns and leaves a useful jar at the end, and it holds nearly a kilo of hand-poured natural soy wax for a clean, even burn and a soft, steady throw of scent that fills a room without overpowering it. Made in small batches in Yorkshire. Soy wax burns cooler than paraffin and keeps the glass clear. Let the first burn reach the edge of the jar and keep the wick trimmed.
