Black Magic is the darkest scent in Aromatika's charcoal-free hex range: sweet, heavy and grounding, the stick for an evening ritual, a quiet hour of reflection or a Samhain altar. It is hand-rolled in India to a traditional Ayurvedic method from natural wood powders, plant resins and aroma oils, with no charcoal in the stick at all.
Most cheap incense is built on a charcoal core, and that is where the harsh black smoke comes from. Without it, the smoke is softer, the scent is the blend itself, and a room does not end up smelling of a bonfire afterwards.
Each pack holds twenty sticks of 20 to 22cm, and each burns for around thirty minutes. Light the tip, let it glow, blow out the flame and stand it in a holder on a heatproof surface. It pairs with the Dragon's Blood sticks from the same range for a darker pair.
