Backflow Incense Burner - Zen Circle of Life
Smoke pouring through a ceramic circle on a quiet side table
The calm minimal backflow burner for a modern room
- Smoke pouring down through a circle: a small spectacle on a side table
- Ceramic, heavy enough to stay still
- Needs backflow cones and a heatproof mat; the smoke marks varnish
- The calm, minimal one of the backflow burners
- Pairs with the aloe vera backflow cones for a clean cascade
Light one cone and watch a slow waterfall for twenty minutes
A ceramic backflow burner in the Zen Circle of Life design. A backflow cone sits at the top, and once it is lit the smoke falls through the burner instead of rising, pooling and tumbling down the ceramic like a slow waterfall. The circle frames the falling smoke, and the whole effect is best watched in a dim room.
It takes standard backflow cones only; a normal incense cone will burn but the smoke will rise and the burner does nothing. Each cone gives around twenty minutes. The Aromatika masala cones in eucalyptus or aloe vera are the ones we sell for it.
Backflow smoke is heavy and leaves a faint residue, so stand the burner on a heatproof mat on a flat surface and never on painted, varnished or polished wood. Burn one cone at a time, do not leave it unattended, and keep it out of reach of children.
Ceramic.
