A small burner for a bedside or a bathroom windowsill
A seated Buddha in black glazed ceramic with a shallow bowl above the head for oil or a wax melt. The glaze is deep and slightly glossy, so the figure catches the light from a tea light placed in the opening at the base and the face glows from below once it is lit.
It works like any oil burner. A tea light in the base, a little water and a few drops of fragrance oil in the bowl, and the scent is in the room within minutes. A wax melt works too and needs no water. The bowl is small, so refill it for a long evening.
Black suits a monochrome shelf or a dark corner where a pale burner would look lost. At 8.5cm it is small enough for a bedside or a bathroom windowsill.
Ceramic. 8.5 x 8.5cm. Weighs 200g.
