The small classic burner in matt black is the simplest shape in the Zen range: a straight-sided ceramic cup with a round dish on top and a cut-out at the front for the tealight. It is the burner for a small space, a bedside, a desk or a bathroom shelf, where it does its job without being noticed, and the matt black finish makes it look more expensive than it is. The dish holds enough water and oil for a full tealight. It takes fragrance oil, essential oil on water, or a wax melt. At 224g it is light and easy to move from room to room. Stand it on a heatproof mat and keep the dish topped up with water while it is lit, as a dry dish scorches the oil.
