Chakra Pyramid Singing Bowl Gift Set

A chakra singing bowl gift set: seven brass bowls, one for each chakra, each tuned to a different note, stacked in a pyramid from the largest root bowl at the base to the smallest crown bowl at the top, with the wooden striker that makes them sing. The bowls are played two ways, struck on the rim for a ringing note or circled with the wooden end of the stick until the bowl begins to sing, and the seven together give a scale to work up through in a chakra meditation or a sound bath, the frequencies differing from bowl to bowl. It is a set for a yoga teacher, a sound healer, a meditation group or someone building a serious practice at home, and as a gift it is the one that makes the recipient more than happy, because seven bowls is a whole instrument. The pyramid stacks for display and storage, 52 by 39cm and 2kg in all. Made in India in brass.
