A rustic terracotta-style ceramic oil burner with heart cut-outs around the sides, so the tealight throws small heart shapes of light onto the wall and the table. It is supplied assorted, meaning the glaze colour varies from piece to piece, and the one that arrives is the luck of the draw. The ceramic has a tactile, slightly rough feel that suits simmering granules as well as fragrance oils, and the dish on top is deep enough to hold water for a full tealight. At 12 by 8cm and 350g it is a solid little burner that stays put. Simple design, good value, and a classic housewarming or Valentine's gift. Use good-quality tealights, stand it on a heatproof mat, keep water in the dish while lit and never leave it unattended.
Ceramic, rustic finish, assorted colours. 12 x 8cm. Weighs 350g.
