A hand-sized cluster that lights up on a sunny windowsill
Green ghost quartz gets its name from the phantom inside each point: a pale green shadow of an earlier crystal, caught as the quartz kept growing around it. Hold a point up to the light and you see the ghost sitting inside the clear outer layer. This cluster is sized to sit in one hand, with a dozen or so points rising from a shared base, so the light goes into several terminations at once rather than one. It is sold as a crafted cluster, built up from natural points on a stable base, so it stands without wobbling and shows every face. In crystal practice green quartz is the stone of the heart, associated with growth and renewal, and the phantoms are read as a record of change.
