The protective stone of crystal practice as a collector's piece
A crafted cluster of smoky ghost quartz: smoky quartz points gathered on a base, each one carrying pale, ghost-like inclusions inside the dark brown-grey crystal. The phantoms are traces of earlier growth caught inside the point as the quartz kept forming around them, and they show best when the cluster is turned against the light.
In crystal practice smoky quartz is read as the grounding and protective stone, the one kept by a front door or on a desk to absorb a heavy day. The ghosts add something for the collector, since no two clusters show them in the same way.
At 7.5 by 9 by 8cm and 333g it is a hand-sized piece, solid enough to stand on its own on a shelf or a windowsill. It pairs with the green and yellow ghost quartz clusters for a set of three.
Gemstone. 7.5 x 9 x 8cm. Weighs 333g.
