Cedar Sage smudging sticks from the Golden range: cedar and sage resin pressed into solid sticks with a naturally rough finish. Cedar and sage are the two classic smudging plants, so this is the stick for clearing a space after a move, an argument or a long winter.
These are not incense sticks on a bamboo core. The resin itself is pressed into solid sticks, so you light the tip, let it catch, blow out the flame and set it in a holder or on a heat-resistant dish, where it smoulders slowly. The colour and surface texture vary from stick to stick. That is the resin showing, not a fault.
