Cedar Citrus from Greenman Rituals is the fresh one of the range: crisp citrus zest at the top, soft fruity and green notes in the middle, and a calm base of cedar and moss underneath. It smells like a walk through pine woods on a bright morning, clean without being sharp, and it works in a kitchen during the day as well as a living room in the evening.
It is poured in natural soy wax with a wooden wick that crackles softly as it burns, in a green glass jar finished with rope and a cork lid. The lid goes back on between burns to keep the scent in, and the jar can be reused once the wax is gone. The packaging is glass, paper and cornstarch, with no plastic.
It is a good first Greenman candle, and it pairs with Ash and Woodsmoke for a fresh-and-smoky pair from the same maker.
