Light comes up through a chamber packed with Himalayan salt, and what you get is a warm orange flicker that reads as a small fire from across the room. The mist rises through the same glow, so the scent and the firelight come out of one object. The amber colour comes from the salt itself rather than a coloured bulb, and the salt chunks are included.
Add water and a few drops of your favourite essential oil. The 220ml tank and a timer of one, three or six hours will see out an evening or a night, and the built-in light doubles as a soothing night light on its own, with the mist switched off.
It is powered through a USB-C interface on a cord of at least 80cm, and its sleek, modern design suits a bedroom, reading corner or office. To be used with essential oils mixed in water only.
