Every concrete vessel differs a little in texture and tone
A wooden wick candle poured into a concrete vessel, in the Spiced South Sea Lime scent: sharp green lime over warm spice, a fragrance that smells like a holiday rather than a kitchen. The concrete is the point of this range. Each vessel is cast by hand, so every one differs a little in texture and tone, and the raw, matt surface sits against wood, linen and plants in a way that glass never does. The wick is a flat strip of rosewood, which crackles quietly as it burns, like a small fire. Soy wax, so it burns clean and slow, and the large box size gives many evenings. Felt pads on the base protect furniture. When the candle is done, the concrete pot becomes a plant pot or a pen holder.
Concrete vessel, soy wax, rosewood wick, fragrance. 7 x 14 x 7.5cm.
