The Balance spell candle: a tall soy wax candle in a 20cm glass, scented with ylang ylang, the sweet, heady white flower of the tropics, and set with black agate and white jasper gemstones, the dark and the light stone together for the theme of harmony and equilibrium. It is the candle for the weeks when everything is pulling one way, lit at the start of an evening to mark the point where the day stops, and the stones emerge as the wax burns down and are rinsed and kept, a pair for the pocket afterwards. Ylang ylang is the calming, slightly intoxicating oil of aromatherapy tradition, and in a candle it is warm rather than sharp. Fifty hours of burn from 280g of soy wax, which burns cool and clean. Designed in Spain. It is one of the Magic Spell range, each candle a stone pairing and an intention; the Confidence candle is its counterpart.
