Medium African Tumble Stones - Amethyst - Chevron (Pack of 12)

Twelve medium tumbled chevron amethyst stones from South Africa, each 25 to 45mm, polished smooth. Chevron amethyst is amethyst and white quartz grown together in V-shaped bands, so each stone is striped purple and white in zigzags, and no two stones zigzag the same way; it is the most patterned of the amethysts and the one people pick out of a bowl first. In crystal practice it is read as amethyst's calm with quartz's clarity, the peace-and-focus stone, kept on a desk or a bedside. The medium size is the pocket and bowl size, big enough to hold and small enough to carry, and twelve in a pack makes a full bowl, a grid, a workshop's worth or a dozen small gifts; the per-stone price is a fraction of single tumbles. Natural stone, so the depth of purple and the banding differ from piece to piece and from the photograph.
