Twelve medium tumbled dragon stones from Madagascar, each 25 to 45mm, polished smooth. The name comes from a Malagasy legend: when the dragons died, their bones sank to the sea floor and turned to stone, and the mottled mix of calcite, aragonite and limestone that came out of the ground is what the legend explains, a stone patterned in greens, creams, greys and browns, every piece differently. In crystal practice dragon stone is read as grounding with a creative streak, the earth stone with some fire in it, and it is the tumble that children and dragon-lovers pick out of a bowl. The medium size is the pocket and bowl size, and twelve in a pack makes a full bowl, a grid or a dozen small gifts at a fraction of the single-tumble price.
