A medium round charging plate cut from natural Moroccan selenite and engraved with the hamsa hand, a protection symbol used for centuries from Morocco across to the Middle East. Each plate is a natural mineral slab, so the fibre lines and shade differ from one to the next.
At 10cm it takes a small collection at once: bracelets, rings and a handful of tumbled stones overnight. The engraving looks good even when the plate is empty, so it works as a small protective piece for a hallway or bedroom, and as a meaningful gift for a new home.
Selenite cleanses other stones without water, salt or sunlight. Dust it with a dry cloth and keep it away from taps and damp bathrooms, as water damages the surface.
