Multi Purpose Buddha Incense Plate - Ceramic Blue
A seated Buddha in flowing blue glaze to catch every ash
Sticks or cones, this one plate takes whatever incense you own
- Holes for sticks and a flat dish for cones, so one plate serves every incense in the house
- Glazed ceramic wipes clean of ash where wood or bamboo stains
- The seated Buddha gives a plain shelf or a yoga corner a focal point
- Flowing blue glaze, so no two plates come out of the kiln the same
- Pairs with a tube of Nag Champa sticks for a ready-made gift
No two glazes come out of the kiln the same
A ceramic incense plate in a flowing blue glaze with a seated Buddha at the centre. The plate has holes for incense sticks and a flat dish for cones, so it takes whichever incense you have in the house, and the raised rim keeps the ash on the plate rather than on the shelf.
The blue glaze is the point of this one. It runs and pools in the firing, so the colour is deeper in the hollows and lighter on the rim, and no two plates come out of the kiln the same. Under a lamp it has a slight sheen that reads as modern rather than temple-like.
Glazed ceramic wipes clean of ash where wood or bamboo stains, and the Buddha gives a plain shelf or a yoga corner a focal point. It suits any standard bamboo-core stick and any cone. Stand it on a heatproof surface, since ash falls hot.
