An orgonite dome, 6.5cm across and 3cm high, with amethyst chips layered through clear resin alongside metal shavings and the small esoteric objects the range is known for, cast so the contents show through the curved top like things under ice. Orgonite is the modern resin-and-metal material developed from Wilhelm Reich's ideas about life energy, kept in crystal practice as a balancing and protective object, and the dome is the palm-sized version: it sits on a desk, a bedside or an altar, is picked up and turned to look at, and is put back. Amethyst is the stone of calm and clear thinking, so this is the dome for a work desk or a bedroom. At 140g it has a pleasing weight for its size. Hand-cast in India in small batches, so the chips and the objects inside differ from dome to dome, and the photograph shows the design rather than your piece. The smallest of the desk power packs.
