An orgonite water wand: a carved rod of clear resin, 14cm long, with copper and gemstone chips cast inside it. These are sometimes called power flow objects, and the name comes from the idea that orgonite moves and balances energy. Orgonite is resin packed with metal shavings and crystal, an idea developed from Wilhelm Reich's work on life energy, and in crystal practice it is kept as a balancing, protective piece.
The wand form is used two ways: held in the hand during meditation, or stood in a jug or glass of water, which is where the name comes from. The carving gives it a faceted surface that catches the light, and the copper glints through the resin.
Each wand is made by hand, so the pattern of copper and chips differs from the photographs.
