Pendulum - Amethyst

A plain amethyst pendulum: a cut point of the purple quartz on a silver-plated chain, with a gemstone bead at the top end to hold. Simple pendulums like this are the ones beginners start with and experienced dowsers keep, because nothing distracts from the swing.

To use it, hold the chain between thumb and finger, let the point go still, and ask a clear question. Most people first ask the pendulum to show yes and no, then read every answer against those two swings. Because it is natural stone, each pendulum varies a little in colour and markings from the photographs.
