This is the summer blend: sharp, green and citrussy, the scent of the candles burned outdoors to keep the midges off, and here it is made into a hollow cone for a backflow burner, where the smoke falls through the centre and pours down the burner rather than rising. A backflow burner on a garden table in July with one of these going is exactly what they are for, though they work indoors too, and the lemongrass brightens a stuffy room. Plant-based binders give a softer smoke than resin-bound cones. A pack weighs 38g and each cone burns for around 15 minutes. The cones are made for backflow burners and will not cascade on a flat dish. Among the cheapest in the range, and the one that sells on warm evenings.
