Half a kilo of rough amethyst points, the purple quartz as it comes out of the ground, uncut and unpolished. Each point has its natural six-sided termination and the colour runs from pale lilac to deep violet across the bag, with the matrix rock still clinging to some bases.
In crystal practice amethyst is read as the stone of calm and spiritual clarity, linked to the crown chakra, and rough points are the form practitioners keep by the bed or set round a room rather than carry in a pocket. A bag this size gives enough pieces to scatter through a house or to share.
