Five hundred grams of raw tiger's eye, the golden-brown stone in rough pieces, and in this form the famous chatoyant band is still there, just softer, a gleam of gold that moves across the fibres as you turn a piece in the light. The rough surface is silky to the touch because the stone is made of fine parallel fibres, and broken edges show the layered structure that polishing hides. Tiger's eye has been carried as a stone of courage and clear sight since Roman soldiers wore it, and crystal practice reads it as the stone for confidence and steady nerves. A 500g bag is for bowls, grids, craft and sharing, with sizes from chips to chunks and no two alike.
