Hand the perfect instant-calm gift to the person who has everything

Rope incense is Nepali, and it burns differently to a stick. There is no bamboo core running through it, so you get the resin and the herbs and none of the scorched-splinter smell that comes off cheap sticks. Knot one end, rest it on the holder, light it and leave it.

The box holds 10 aromatic ropes, hand-rolled from natural ingredients, together with the silver plated holder. The Tantra Yoga design runs the seven chakras — the body's energy centres, each with its own qualities — down the face of the dish. It arrives ready to hand straight over, which makes it an easy gift for the person who already owns everything else.

Brass and incense. 16 x 9 x 2cm. Weighs 140g. From Nepal.
