Selenite Cylinder Candle Holder - Large

The tall version of the selenite tea light holder: a 20cm cylinder of Moroccan selenite, 8cm across, hollowed at the top for a tea light and weighing nearly 2kg. Twice the height of the 10cm holder, it throws the candlelight much further up the column, so the whole 20cm glows in the striped, satiny way that only fibrous selenite does, and it reads as a lamp rather than a candle holder. The sides are the natural rough crystal with its sheen and paler patches; the top is polished flat, the base cut level. It is a piece for a mantel, a hallway table or the centre of an altar, and a pair of them either side of a mirror is the look that sells it. Selenite in crystal practice is the cleansing, crown-chakra stone, and the tall holder is kept where the room needs clearing. Keep it dry and dust rather than wash.
