Balance and grounding held on a 23cm chain

A pendulum cut from a Shiva lingam stone and finished with a metal band round the middle, hung from a chain. Shiva lingam stones are gathered from the Narmada river in India, where the water tumbles them into their egg shape, and the brown and cream banding in each one is the stone's own. The band of metal holds the chain and adds weight so the pendulum swings true.

In crystal practice the lingam is read as the stone of balance, the meeting of masculine and feminine, and it is kept for grounding as much as for dowsing. Hold the chain between thumb and finger, let the stone settle, and ask.

Sold individually. Each pendulum is natural stone, so the colour, pattern and markings differ from piece to piece. It is light, at 15g, and the 23cm chain gives a good slow swing for a beginner.

Gemstones. 23 x 2cm. Weighs 15g. From India.
