A cast iron pentagram pot for resin, herbs and written petitions

Drop the lid to snuff a charcoal disc and end the ritual

Burns loose resin, written petitions and candle ends that a ceramic dish cannot take
The lid snuffs a charcoal disc in seconds, so a ritual can end when you say it ends
Small enough to pack for a moon circle, a camping altar or a friend's kitchen table
Pairs with the frankincense and copal resins and the charcoal discs on the same shelf
Stand it on a tile or trivet: cast iron carries heat all the way through

Small enough to pack for a moon circle or a camping altar

A small cast iron ritual pot, 8cm across and 10cm tall, with a pentagram set into the side, a lid and a side handle. This is the little cauldron for a small altar or a shelf: solid iron that takes heat without complaint, so it is the vessel for burning incense on charcoal, loose herbs, resin, written petitions and the ends of spell candles, and for the small fire rituals that a bowl cannot safely hold. The lid smothers whatever is burning when the work is done and keeps the ash in between uses, and the handle lets it be moved while warm. The pentagram, the five-pointed star of the elements and spirit, marks it as a witch's tool rather than kitchenware. Stand it on a tile or a trivet when anything is burning in it, because the iron gets hot through. Small enough to pack, and at 900g heavy enough to feel real.

Cast iron with lid and handle. 8 x 8 x 10cm. Weighs 900g. From India.
