For a new home or a room after an argument
A large dragon's blood sage smudge stick, 22.5cm long and 120g, a dense bundle of white sage coated in dragon's blood, the red resin of the Daemonorops palm, so the bundle is dark red and the smoke carries the sweet, warm, slightly spicy scent of the resin over the dry herbal smoke of the sage. Dragon's blood is the protection resin of folk magic from the Mediterranean to the Caribbean, added to spells to make them work harder, and on a smudge stick it turns a clearing ritual into a strengthening one: the sage clears, the resin guards. It is the smudge for a new home, a Samhain altar, a room that has had an argument in it, and for anyone whose practice runs dark. Light the tip, blow it out, let it smoulder and fan the smoke, then press it out in a dish; at this size one bundle lasts for months. Individually wrapped. Keep a heatproof dish beneath it.
White sage coated in dragon's blood resin, bound bundle, individually wrapped. 22.5 x 4cm. Weighs 120g. From Mexico.
