Seven Chakras is a Vedic incense from Aromatika in Jaipur: twelve hand-rolled masala sticks in a 15g box, blended to a recipe drawn from the Vedic tradition with a balancing, layered fragrance meant to accompany meditation through the chakras. Masala incense is made by rolling a paste of resins, herbs, oils and powders onto a bamboo core, rather than dipping a blank stick in fragrance, so these burn for twenty minutes or more with a rich, rounded scent instead of a sharp one. A box of twelve is a fortnight of daily practice. Burn one in a stick holder or ash catcher. At this price it is the easiest way to try the Vedic range, and the chakra blend is the one most people start with.
