Fourteen centimetres for salt, stones and offerings
The large Three Moons smudge bowl, 14cm across, carved from mango wood with the waxing, full and waning moons on its face. The triple moon is the symbol of the Goddess in her three aspects, so this is the bowl for a lunar altar, a moon ritual or a Goddess-centred practice.
It is a working bowl. Rest a smudge stick across it while it smoulders and the ash falls inside, or use it to hold loose herbs, resin, salt or small offerings on the altar. The smooth inside wipes clean, and between rituals it makes a dish for stones or rings.
It pairs with the Triple Moon copper goblet and chalice for a full Goddess altar. The small 12cm version suits a bedside.
Mango wood. 14 x 7cm. Weighs 180g. From India.
