Moorland is the fresh one of Agnes and Cat's botanical candles, drawn from the wide open moors of the Lake District: clean, light and expansive, the sensation of standing on a hill under a clear sky with cool air moving around you. It is the scent for a room that needs airing, a bathroom, a bedroom in the morning, or a house after a week of cooking, and it is the one to choose for someone who finds most candles too sweet. The candle is poured in soy wax with real dried florals set into the wax at the edge of the clear glass, so the botanicals show through and glow as it burns down and each jar has its own character; a wooden wick crackles softly. It holds 350g of wax, about seventy hours of burning, and comes boxed. Soy wax burns cooler and cleaner than paraffin and keeps a light scent like this one honest.
