Christmas Santa's Grotto Backflow Incense Burner

A backflow incense burner shaped as Santa's grotto, cast in resin with metal detail, 16cm tall and 873g. A backflow cone sits at the top and, because the cone is hollow, its heavy smoke drops through the burner and pours down the grotto like a slow white waterfall, pooling at the base; with the lights low it is the most watched object in the room. It is a Christmas piece, out from the first of December as a centrepiece on a mantel, a sideboard or a hall table, and the kind of thing that becomes part of the family's Christmas once it has been seen once. Use it with backflow cones, sold in packs on the same shelf, and always on a heatproof mat on a flat surface away from draughts; backflow smoke can mark varnished or painted wood, so never stand it on a polished table unprotected. Packed away with the decorations in January, it lasts for years.

Resin and metal. 16 x 13.5 x 10cm. Weighs 873g. Use on a heatproof mat.
