A rustic terracotta-style ceramic oil burner with a dragonfly cut into the front. The clay is left matt rather than glazed, so it has a tactile, hand-thrown feel, and the dragonfly cut-out lets the tea light throw its outline onto the wall behind.
The dish on top takes fragrance oil with a little water, a wax melt, or simmering granules, and a tea light goes in the opening below. At 12cm tall it is a mid-sized burner, enough for a bedroom or a conservatory.
Supplied assorted, so the exact shade of the clay and the glaze on the dish vary from one burner to the next. A dragonfly is the usual pick for a garden room or a summer house. Use a good tea light, stand it on a mat, and keep water in the dish.
