The Air soap from the Crystal Elemental range: a faceted, charcoal grey bar shaped like a cut stone, with a real gemstone set inside it. The box asks which one you will find. It will be amethyst, white aventurine or quartz, and you only see it once the soap has worn down far enough to reveal it.
The lather is light and the scent soothing, and the charcoal in the bar gives it its slate colour. Used daily at a basin it takes a few weeks to reach the stone, which then comes out clean and goes in a pocket, a dish or a crystal grid.
It is made in the UK and weighs 100g. The four elements, Air, Water, Earth and Fire, each come in their own colour and box, so they make a set for a collector or four small gifts.
