Protection symbolism for a hallway or a front room
A long enamelled incense bowl in aluminium, with a Hamsa hand at the centre surrounded by deep blue evil eye detail. The Hamsa is the open hand of protection across the Middle East and North Africa, and the evil eye beside it is the old charm against envy, so this is the bowl for a hallway, a front room or anywhere protection is the point.
The shape is a shallow boat, 20cm long, so a standard incense stick rests along it and every bit of ash falls inside. The glossy enamel keeps its colour and wipes clean, and aluminium does not rust or chip.
It is light, at 130g, and works as well on a shelf as a decorative piece when nothing is burning. It pairs with the other enamel bowls in the range if you want a set.
Aluminium and enamel. 20 x 9 x 2cm. Weighs 130g. From India.
