A 50cm square cotton altar cloth with a fringed border and a Life, Death and Rebirth design printed at the centre. The motif is the cycle itself, the turning of seasons, the moon and a life, and it is the cloth for Samhain, for an ancestor altar, or for any reading about an ending that is also a beginning.
At 50cm square it covers a small altar, a bedside table or a corner of a desk, and it is the right size for a three-card past, present and future spread, where the design under the cards does half the work. Cotton lies flat, folds small for a bag, and washes.
Made in India. The fringe gives it a finished edge, so it reads as a cloth made for the purpose rather than a scarf pressed into service. It pairs with the Pentagram and Horoscope cloths in the same range.
