- Hand finished in Nepal in the traditional way
Mark the crisp beginning of your practice with an instrument ready to play
Nine centimetres and around 715 Hz — a bright, clean note rather than the low hum of the big bowls. Small bowls ring higher and clearer, which is why this size ends up being the one people use to open and close a practice: it carries across a room instead of filling it.
That geometric pattern across the base is the Flower of Life, pressed into the metal and not applied to it. The singing bowl and mallet come with a ring pillow and a carrying pouch, so there is nothing else to order and nothing to improvise, and at 9 x 5cm and 0.550kg it goes into a bag alongside a mat without any trouble.
Brass. 9 x 5cm. Weighs 550g. From Nepal.
