Gemstone Tree Garden - Mango Wood Open Ring - Green Aventurine - 60 chipstones

Sixty green aventurine chips hand-wired onto brass branches, growing out of an open ring turned from mango wood so that the tree stands framed inside a circle of pale wood. Green aventurine is the stone of luck, opportunity and growth in crystal practice, the sparkling green quartz kept by gamblers and gardeners alike, and a tree of it is the most literal version of the idea: a green canopy that never needs watering, placed where a room or a venture wants to grow. The ring is what makes the piece: the pale wood frames the green and turns an ornament into a small sculpture for a desk, a shelf or a mantel. It is 17cm tall and 320g, the branches can be bent gently to shape, and the mango wood is sustainably taken from orchards once the trees stop fruiting. Handmade in India, so the chips and the wiring vary from tree to tree. Ships boxed.
