Gemstone Tree Garden - Mango Wood Open Ring - Seven Chakra - 60 chipstones

A small gemstone tree of sixty chipstones in the seven chakra colours, red through violet, wired by hand onto brass branches and set inside an open ring of mango wood. The ring frames the tree like a window, so it reads as a picture as much as an ornament, and it stands on its own on a shelf or a desk.

In crystal practice each colour stands for one of the seven energy centres, so the tree is a compact way to keep all seven in one place without seven separate stones. The branches bend, so the canopy can be opened out or gathered in to suit the spot.

Handmade in India from mango wood, a fast-growing hardwood, so the grain of the ring differs from one to the next. At 17cm it is the small tree of the range, sized for a bedside or a windowsill, and it is the usual pick for someone's first crystal tree.
