Frankincense smudging sticks from the Golden range: the classic temple resin pressed into solid sticks with a natural, earthy texture. The scent is warm, resinous and gently woody, and it develops slowly into a steady fragrance rather than a cloud of smoke, which makes it the stick for meditation, reflection and quiet daily ritual.
These are not incense sticks on a bamboo core. The resin itself is pressed into solid sticks, so you light the tip, let it catch, blow out the flame and set it in a holder or on a heat-resistant dish, where it smoulders slowly. The colour and surface texture vary from stick to stick. That is the resin showing, not a fault.
Burning frankincense this way skips the charcoal disc that loose resin needs. About 30g to the pack, in a slim illustrated box with inner wrapping.
