Heighten Awareness is the massage oil for the start of the day rather than the end of it: black pepper, bergamot and petitgrain essential oils blended into pure grapeseed. Black pepper brings warmth to the skin, bergamot is the bright citrus of Earl Grey, and petitgrain, distilled from the leaves of the bitter orange, is green and slightly woody, so the three together smell awake. Grapeseed absorbs quickly without a greasy finish. Use it for a shoulder and neck rub before work, a sports massage, or a few drops in a morning bath. The 100ml bottle is made in the UK. Patch test before first use and keep it away from broken skin; citrus oils can increase sun sensitivity, so avoid strong sun straight after.
