Dried botanicals open like a flower around the flame
The Knight of Swords from Hop Hare's tarot candle series: hand-poured soy wax in a glass jar with a crystal set at its core, a stone read in crystal practice for clarity, focus and courage, and dried botanicals pressed into the surface that unfurl like a flower as the wax burns down. Each candle in the series comes with its tarot card, and the Knight of Swords is the card of decisive action, quick thinking and charging in, so this is the candle lit before a decision, an argument that needs winning, or a week that needs attacking rather than enduring. At 8.8cm across and 330g it burns for many hours, and the stone is revealed as it goes and kept afterwards. Soy wax burns clean, without soot, and the jar is reused. It is the sharpest-minded candle in the series and the one bought for the friend who is about to start something.
Soy wax, fragrance, glass jar, gemstone, dried flowers, tarot card. 8.8 x 5cm. Weighs 330g.
