The stone is bound in a net of lace, nylon and cotton, rather than capped or drilled, so nothing metal touches it and the whole stone shows. It hangs on an adjustable string of about 41cm, so it can sit at the collarbone or lower over a jumper, and it arrives ready to wear. The hexagon is cut by hand in India, so each stone has its own shade and markings.
