Large African Tumble Stones - Unakite (Pack of 6)

Six large tumbled unakite stones, each 30 to 50mm, polished smooth. Unakite is a metamorphic rock rather than a single mineral, born of hydrothermal change deep in the ground, and it blends green epidote with pink orthoclase feldspar and flecks of clear quartz into a mottled stone that looks like moss on a sandstone wall; no two stones carry the same proportions of pink and green. In crystal practice it is read as the balance stone, the heart's two colours in one, kept for emotional steadiness and for the slow work of putting things right, and the large size makes it a stone to hold. Six in a pack is a bowl, a grid or a few to give, and the soft colours suit a bedroom or a bathroom shelf. Natural stone, so the mottling varies from piece to piece and from the photograph.
