Why raw seed shells create an atmosphere plastic cannot match.

This large nut shaker is crafted from around fifty real pangi seed shells, all gathered tightly on a natural cord. When shaken gently or rhythmically, the shells collide to produce a deep, full rattling sound that instantly adds atmosphere to drumming sessions, sound baths, or quiet spaces.

Because the shells are entirely natural, every single shaker has its own unique shape, texture, and acoustic tone. Even when it is not being played, the raw, earthy look makes it a brilliant decorative piece to hang in a bohemian room.

Hold it by the loop and shake, or drag it slowly across a drum head for a rain sound. It is the shaker for a drum circle or a sound bath, where a plastic egg shaker would look out of place.

50 x 15cm. Weighs 420g. From Indonesia.
